SharpShooter Nozzles and Holders
A ladder slows you down and a lift eats the profit. SharpShooter nozzles by C&R put a tight chemical stream on second story siding, peaks, and gutters while your boots stay on the ground. Not sure which GPM tip matches your machine? Call 301-519-9274 and we will sort it out in two minutes.
How a SharpShooter Nozzle Reaches a Second Story
A standard black soap nozzle fans the spray wide, so half your house wash mix turns to mist before it touches the wall. A shooter tip does the opposite. The forced cone bore inside the anodized aluminum body squeezes the flow into one concentrated stream with very little atomization. On a machine with enough flow, that stream carries 40 feet or more, which covers most two story gables from the lawn. Less mist also means less chemical drifting onto cars, windows, and plants you did not plan to treat.
Match the Tip to Your Machine's GPM
These tips are bored for a specific flow rate and color coded so you can grab the right one off the holder without reading anything. Purple is 4 GPM, green is 6, blue is 8, red is 10. The sizing matters for two reasons. First, reach: a tip bored for 8 GPM on a 4 GPM machine will not build a full stream and your throw drops hard. Second, soap draw: the orifice has to be large enough to drop system pressure so your downstream injector starts pulling chemical. Run a tip that is too small and the injector sits there doing nothing. When your machine falls between sizes, size to the flow you actually measured at the gun, not the sticker on the frame.
Shooter Tip or X-Jet?
Both put chemical up high, but they meter it differently. An X-Jet draws from a bucket at the gun through a hose you drag around the yard. A shooter tip works with the downstream injector already plumbed into your rig, so there is no bucket and no extra hose, just quick connect the tip and go. The X-Jet wins when you need stronger mix ratios than a downstream injector can pull. For everyday house washing, most crews find the shooter tip faster to set up and easier to live with.

| J-Rod 4-Way Stainless Nozzle Holder | Holds 4 tips, 1/4" MPT | Stainless | $39.58 |
Every nozzle above runs a standard 1/4 inch connection, so they drop into common quick connect couplers and holders.
From the Field
The guys who love these tips all made the same second purchase: a holder. Digging a loose tip out of a pocket with wet gloves gets old by the third house. The J-Rod rides on the gun with your shooter tip and rinse tips side by side, so soap to rinse is a two second swap. Two more habits worth stealing. Check your soap draw at the truck, not at the wall, because a lazy injector wastes a climb back down the yard. And on breezy days, work the stream in short arcs from the bottom of the wall up, since a wet surface grabs chemical that mist would have lost to the wind.

Frequently Asked Questions
How far will a SharpShooter nozzle actually shoot?
With the tip matched to your flow, expect a working stream around 40 feet on 8 GPM machines. Smaller machines throw less. That is enough for nearly all two story homes and plenty of three story gable ends when the wind cooperates.
Will a shooter tip pull soap through my downstream injector?
Yes, that is the point of the large bore. It drops pressure enough for the injector to draw. If soap will not pull, check the injector orifice size against your GPM and look for a kinked draw line before blaming the tip.
Which GPM SharpShooter do I need?
Buy the tip that matches your machine's real output. Purple for 4 GPM, green for 6, blue for 8, red for 10. If your pump is worn and putting out less than rated flow, drop down a size to keep your reach.
What is the difference between a shooter tip and an X-Jet?
A shooter tip uses your existing downstream injector with no bucket to drag. An X-Jet proportions chemical at the gun from a bucket, which gets you hotter mixes. Crews that downstream daily usually reach for the shooter tip first.
Do these fit a standard quick connect?
Yes. They run standard 1/4 inch connections, so they snap into the same couplers as your regular spray tips and load into a J-Rod or dual holder.
Can I run hot water through a SharpShooter?
The C&R forced cone design is rated for cold and hot water machines. Rinse the tip with clean water after running strong chemical and the anodized body will last for years.
