Quick Connects

Quick Connects

Quick connects let you swap hoses, guns, lances, and nozzles in seconds with no tools. A plug snaps into a socket and locks, so you can change setups on the job without breaking down your plumbing.

How to Choose

Quick connects come in plug and socket halves, so order the half you need. Match the size to your line, usually 1/4, 3/8, or 1/2 inch, and the thread type on the other end. Brass is the standard, while stainless steel resists corrosion from chemicals and salt. Choose connects rated at or above your machine's maximum PSI.

Common Applications

  • Connecting hoses, guns, wands, and lances
  • Fast tool-free nozzle changes
  • Swapping surface cleaners and accessories
  • Building modular plumbing on trucks and trailers

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a plug and a socket?
The plug is the male half that inserts. The socket is the female half that grips and locks. A connection needs one of each.

Are quick connects rated for hot water?
Many are. Tell us if you run a hot water machine and we will point you to connects rated for the heat.

Do they leak under pressure?
A properly sized, fully seated quick connect with a good o-ring seals tight. We stock replacement o-rings too.
