What is the difference between belt drive and direct drive?

Direct drive pumps bolt directly to the engine shaft and spin at engine RPM (3,400+). Belt drive pumps use a pulley system to reduce RPM to 1,400-1,700, resulting in less wear and longer pump life.

How do I match a pump to my engine?

You need to match the pump shaft size, RPM rating, and HP requirement to your engine output. Call us with your engine model and desired PSI/GPM and we will spec the right pump.

How often should I change pump oil?

Change pump oil every 50 hours of use or monthly, whichever comes first. Use pump-specific oil - do not substitute motor oil. Low or contaminated pump oil is the number one cause of premature pump failure.
