All Brands, Cold Water and Hot Water
There is no brand list to check against. If it is a pressure washer, we work on it β contractor rigs, hot water skids, trailer units, electric machines and homeowner units alike. The reason we can say that is the parts room. We are a distributor first, so the pumps, unloaders, valves, seals and engine parts are already on the shelf behind the service counter instead of three days out on a truck.
We stock parts for AR (Annovi Reverberi), CAT, Comet, General Pump, Giant and Udor pumps, plus Honda and Briggs & Stratton engine parts. Machines built around those components make up the large majority of what rolls through the door, whatever badge is on the frame.
What We Repair
- Pressure washer pumps. Seal and valve rebuilds, packing replacement, unloader plumbing, and full pump swaps when a rebuild no longer makes financial sense.
- Pressure loss and surging. Unloaders, worn nozzles, inlet restriction and pump valves. This is the most common complaint we see and usually the cheapest to fix.
- Small engines. Honda GX and other small engines: carburetors, recoil starters, air and fuel filters, ignition, tune-ups and no-start diagnosis.
- Hot water machines and skids. Burners, ignition transformers, thermostats, fuel solenoids, coil service and combustion adjustment.
- Guns, wands and hoses. Trigger gun rebuilds, swivel replacement, hose repair and crimping, quick connect replacement.
- Surface cleaners. Swivel service, bearing and seal kits, spray bar and nozzle replacement on Whisper Wash, Mosmatic, General Pump and similar units.
Turnaround: What to Expect
Most repairs go out in 3 to 5 days. That covers diagnosis, the repair itself, and a run test before it leaves the shop. Two things extend it:
- Special order parts. If your machine needs something we do not stock β an unusual burner assembly, an obsolete pump head, a manufacturer specific control board β the clock depends on the supplier, and we will tell you the expected date before we order it.
- Your approval. Nothing gets fixed until you know the number. If a repair is going to cost more than the machine is worth, we say so rather than running up a bill.
If the job cannot wait, rent a machine while yours is in the shop.
Symptoms and What They Usually Mean
| What the machine is doing | Usual cause |
|---|---|
| Runs fine, little or no pressure | Unloader valve, a nozzle worn out of spec, or pump valves |
| Pressure pulses or surges | Unloader adjustment, inlet starvation, or a stuck pump valve |
| Water leaking from under the pump | Worn packing or seals β a rebuild kit, not a new pump |
| Will not draw chemical | Injector, a clogged strainer, or the wrong nozzle for downstream draw |
| Engine will not start or dies under load | Carburetor, stale fuel, ignition, or a plugged filter |
| Hot water unit will not fire | Fuel solenoid, ignition transformer, thermostat, or a sooted coil |
| Oil in the pump looks milky | Water past the seals β stop running it and bring it in |
None of that is a substitute for putting hands on the machine, but it tells you whether you are looking at a twenty dollar part or a real repair.
What to Bring
Bring the machine itself, and if you have them, the gun and hose you were using when the problem showed up β a bad gun or a blown hose fools a lot of people into thinking the pump failed. Note the model and serial number off the pump and engine if you can find them. You do not need an appointment.
Why Contractors Bring Their Rigs Here
The same people who service our rental fleet work on customer machines. They are not reading a manual for the first time. We have been in this equipment for over 35 years, we run the parts counter for the region, and we sell everything from pumps to repair parts β which is exactly why you get an honest repair-versus-replace answer instead of a sales pitch.
Fixing It Yourself
Plenty of our customers turn their own wrenches, and we would rather sell you the right part than the wrong one twice. Bring the old part or the pump model number to the counter and we will match it. We stock repair parts, unloaders, engine parts, trigger guns, quick connect nozzles and pump oil.
Service Area
Machines come to us from across the region: Gaithersburg, Rockville, Germantown, Frederick, Silver Spring, Bethesda, Potomac, Columbia, Laurel, Washington DC and Northern Virginia. If you are within about 50 miles, we are the local shop that actually works on this equipment rather than boxing it up and shipping it somewhere else.
Common Questions
What brands of pressure washer do you repair?
All of them. We are not a single-brand service center, and we do not turn machines away because of the badge on the frame. Cold water, hot water, gas, electric, contractor and homeowner units.
How long does a pressure washer repair take?
Typically 3 to 5 days. If your machine needs a part we do not stock, the timeline depends on the supplier and we will give you the expected date before ordering anything.
Do I need an appointment?
No. Drop the machine off Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Call (301) 519-9274 first if you want a read on current shop load.
My machine runs but has no pressure. What is wrong?
Nine times out of ten it is the unloader, a nozzle worn out of spec, or pump valves. That is usually a quick, affordable fix rather than a new machine.
Do you work on homeowner machines or only commercial?
Both. Commercial units are our specialty, but we repair residential pressure washers and small engines too, and we will tell you up front when a repair costs more than the machine is worth.
Do you repair hot water pressure washers and skids?
Yes. Burners, ignition, thermostats, fuel delivery and coil service on hot water machines, skids and trailer units.
Can I get a quote before you start?
Yes, and you will. We diagnose first, call you with the number, and nothing gets repaired until you approve it.
Do you sell the parts if I want to do the repair myself?
Yes. Pumps, seals, unloaders, engine parts, guns and hoses are stocked at the counter, and we will help you identify the right one.
