About This Nozzle
The Spraying Systems Co. 1/4" MEG Nozzle is a fixed-orifice stainless steel nozzle with a 1/4" male pipe thread (MPT) connection. This nozzle delivers a focused spray pattern for professional cleaning applications. The stainless steel body holds up to daily contractor use and resists corrosion from chemical exposure better than brass alternatives.
MEG-style nozzles are primarily used in surface cleaners and duct spinners - quick-connect nozzles are never used in these applications. The threaded connection is the only reliable option for the demands of surface cleaner and duct spinner operation. Some contractors who consistently run the same nozzle size also prefer MEG nozzles on their guns and wands because there is no o-ring to fail. MEG nozzles thread directly into any fitting with a 1/4" female thread. Orifice size is selected by SKU based on your machine's GPM rating.
Key Features
- 1/4" MPT (male pipe thread) - threads directly into tip holders
- Stainless steel construction - corrosion resistant, longer service life than brass
- Fixed orifice - consistent, predictable spray pattern and flow rate at rated PSI
- MEG threaded style - no o-ring to fail, ideal for surface cleaners and duct spinners
- Available in multiple orifice sizes - select the size matched to your machine's GPM

Angle Best For Avoid On 0° Extreme duct cleaning, blasting heavy grease from interior pipes and ducts, trash chute cleaning Never used in surface cleaners. Damages wood, aluminum siding, painted surfaces, and concrete 15° Stripping paint, removing mortar splatter, heavy grease, blasting off coatings Wood surfaces - not safe unless a skilled operator is using it 25° Standard high-pressure cleaning jobs - concrete, driveways, heavy-duty surface cleaning Wood - still too strong for cleaning wood and other soft surfaces 40° Safest tip for wood, vinyl fencing, outdoor furniture, and most general cleaning projects Heavy buildup - spreads pressure across a larger area, reducing impact per point Selecting the Right Orifice Size
MEG nozzles are sold by angle and orifice size. The orifice size controls how much water flows through the nozzle at a given PSI. The larger the orifice, the lower the pressure coming out of the tip. Using the wrong orifice size either starves the pump (too small) or drops pressure below effective cleaning levels (too large). Match the orifice size to your machine's GPM rating at its operating PSI.
