A 2BK sheave is the two-groove pulley that drives your pump on a belt drive pressure washer. Two grooves means two belts sharing the load, which is what you want once you are past about 8 HP or running a high flow pump all day. Cast iron construction, machined for a standard bushing bore, and cut for either A or B section V-belts so you are not hunting for a special belt.
Picking Your Size
The outside diameter sets your pump speed. A smaller sheave on the pump spins it faster, a larger one slows it down. If you are replacing a worn sheave, measure the old one across the outside edge and order the same size. If you are building a rig from scratch, work out the ratio you need between engine RPM and the pump's rated RPM before you order, or call the counter and we will do the math with you.
Available 3.35 inch through 7.75 inch.
When to Replace One
Sheaves wear in the groove, not on the face. If your belts are turning over, squealing, or wearing out fast, run a fingernail down the groove. A groove that has gone from flat-bottomed to V-shaped is worn and will keep eating belts until it is replaced.
Bushings and belts sold separately. Call (301) 519-9274 if you need help matching a bushing to your shaft.
