Air Cleaner Assembly

Replacement air cleaner assembly for Honda GX series engines. This is the whole housing with the cover and the filter element, not just the filter, so if the base is cracked, the latch is broken, or someone has been running the engine with no cover on it, this puts the whole thing right.

Match It to Your Engine

Find the model on the engine cover and order the matching assembly:

• GX160-200 for 5.5 and 6.5 HP engines
• GX240-270 for 8 and 9 HP engines
• GX340-390 for 11 and 13 HP engines, the most common size on contractor pressure washers

Why This Part Matters More Than It Looks

An engine running with a damaged or missing air cleaner is pulling grit straight into the cylinder. On a machine that lives around concrete dust and sand, that is the fastest way to wear an engine out. If your cover does not seal, do not put it off.

Check the element every 50 hours in dusty conditions. Tap the dust out, do not blow it out with the compressor, which drives dirt through the media.
