A-Frame Hose Reel With 450 Feet of 3/8 Inch Capacity

Moving the rig eats more of your day than the cleaning does. This A-frame hose reel takes up to 450 feet of 3/8 inch hose at a 5000 PSI rating, so one parking spot can cover a full lot, a long roofline or an entire building face. The wide two-leg stance keeps a loaded drum planted while you walk hose out to the far corner.

Features

  • Holds up to 450 feet of 3/8 inch hose for long single-setup runs
  • Rated for 5000 PSI working pressure
  • A-frame base spreads the load instead of hanging it off one side
  • Stainless swivel at the inlet for smoother turning and better corrosion resistance
  • 1/2 inch inlet and outlet connections

Sizing Your Machine for a 450 Foot Run

Long runs of 3/8 inch line cost you pressure at the gun. Size the machine for the whole run rather than for the drum, and the tip will not feel soft once you are 400 feet away from the trailer.

Pull only the length the job needs and leave the rest wound. Hose that stays on the spool stays out of the dirt, drags less and takes less abuse from gravel and curbs. Bolt the frame to steel or a solid deck with backing plates under the fasteners, because a full drum of loaded hose leans on those bolts every time you hit a pothole.

Common Questions

How much hose will it actually hold?

Up to 450 feet of 3/8 inch hose. A thicker jacket eats drum space, so measure your hose outside diameter if you plan to fill it right to the top.

What pressure is it rated for?

5000 PSI. That covers the cold water and hot water machines most contractors run day to day.

What size are the connections?

Both the inlet and the outlet are 1/2 inch, and the inlet rides on a stainless swivel.
