Pro Tip
A guide only does its job if the hose comes in under a little tension. Walk the hose back toward the reel rather than letting it pile at your feet, and keep light drag on it so each wrap seats tight. Blow the rollers out with air every few months too, because grit will seize a roller and then it scuffs the hose jacket instead of steering it.
