Pro Tip
A full 450 foot load is heavy and it puts real side load on the guide, so check the roller hardware for looseness at the same time you grease the rest of the reel. Wind at a walking pace with light tension on the hose rather than yanking it in. If you see the hose climbing to one side, stop and back it off a few wraps instead of forcing it, since a crushed wrap under a full spool is what ruins hose.
