Compatibility
The PA adjustable injector fits cold water and hot water pressure washers that use a downstream soap setup. It needs a way to drop pressure at the gun: a low pressure soap nozzle, a dual lance, or an adjustable nozzle. Without one of those it will not draw.

Installation and Maintenance
Plumb the injector downstream of the pump and unloader, with the flow arrow pointing toward the gun. Mount it before the hose reel if you can reach it. Use PTFE tape or pipe sealant on the threads and snug it, but do not crank on brass. Run your chemical line to the barb and clamp it tight so the injector does not suck air.
Put a strainer on the end of the draw hose. Grit from the bottom of a chemical bucket is the fastest way to hang the check ball open, and once it hangs open the injector draws when it should not or backflows water into your bucket.
Flush it with clean water at the end of the day, especially after running sodium hypochlorite. Bleach crystallizes in the passages and around the ball as it dries, and that buildup is what makes draw go weak over a season.
If draw drops off, work the list in order: wrong nozzle on the gun, a clogged strainer, debris on the check ball, a worn o-ring, an air leak at the barb, or a bucket sitting too far below the injector. A long run of hose past the injector also cuts draw. Check the cheap things first before you replace the injector.

Which size chemical injector do I need?
Go by your machine's GPM, not its PSI. Use the 1.5mm for 1.0 to 2.0 GPM, the 1.8mm for 2 to 3 GPM, the 2.1mm for 3 to 5 GPM, and the 2.3mm for 5 to 8 GPM. Most 4 GPM contractor machines take the 2.1mm.
What does the adjustment collar do?
It changes how much chemical the injector pulls, so you can run a richer or leaner mix from the same part. It does not change the water flow through the line.
Why is my injector not drawing soap?
Nine times out of ten it is the nozzle. A downstream injector only draws with a low pressure soap tip on the gun. If the soap tip is on and it still will not pull, check the strainer, the check ball, the o-rings, and the barb connection for an air leak.
Can I run acid through this injector?
No. Standard injectors use o-rings that swell and crack in acid. For acid work, use an acid injector with Viton o-rings.
