Stainless Spring Rewind Hose Reel That Pulls Back 50 Feet

This 50 ft spring rewind hose reel takes hose retrieval off your hands. An internal spring motor draws the line home at a governed speed, so nothing whips across the shop when you let go. Drum and frame are stainless, which is what you want on equipment that lives wet and sees corrosive product. It is rated to 5,000 PSI and handles fluid up to 300 degrees F.

Features

  • Maximum system pressure of 5,000 PSI
  • Fluid temperatures to 300 degrees F, which covers hot water work
  • Drum and frame assembly built entirely from premium stainless
  • Internal spring motor with governed retraction to protect the operator and the hose
  • Centurion stainless swivel gives leak resistant rotation under load
  • Bushings included for both 1/2 in. and 3/8 in. connections
  • Made in Italy to tight mechanical tolerances
  • Multi position base bolts to truck beds, trailer walls or overhead brackets

Governed Retraction and Why It Matters

Cheap spring reels snap back. That whip effect is how technicians get hurt and how hose jackets get chewed up on the frame. The mechanism here uses a controlled rewind that returns the line at a predictable speed and lays it on the drum under steady tension. You get a neat spool every time rather than a loose pile that has to be sorted out before the next job. The internal spring and ratchet are machined to lock and release cleanly, which also keeps the drum from unspooling on its own.

Corrosion, Chemicals and the Swivel

Powder coated reels lose to two things in this trade, frame oxidation and swivel leaks. Stainless throughout answers the first one. The Centurion stainless swivel answers the second, standing between your plumbing and the aggressive soft wash surfactants and high temperature water that pass through it daily. The practical result is a unit that keeps working and keeps looking professional long after carbon steel parts on a comparable reel have gone orange.

Where This Size Fits

Fifty feet is the sweet spot for a fixed station. Think a shop wall, a wash bay, or a trailer where the line needs to disappear between jobs without eating floor space. Soft wash rigs, hydro excavation setups and general high pressure cleaning trucks all integrate it without drama, and the included bushings let you plumb the inlet and outlet to match whatever manifold you already run. Mount it low enough that an operator can reach the drum without a ladder, and give the spring a clear path back toward the guide. When the reel handles recovery, cleanup at the end of a shift stops being a chore.

Common Questions

How fast does the hose come back?

The spring motor is governed, so the retraction speed stays controlled instead of snapping back at full force.

What are the pressure and heat limits?

Up to 5,000 PSI, with fluid temperatures as high as 300 degrees F.

What hose and fittings does it take?

Fifty feet of 3/8 in. hose, and it ships with bushings for either 1/2 in. or 3/8 in. connections.

What upkeep does it need?

Check spring tension and inspect the swivel now and then. There is very little else to do.
